So I decided to draw Felicia Day as Penny on Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. She was pretty fun to draw. I really like this web series these days. I don't have a TV so I rely all of my entertainment on the web. If you Flickrites have not seen Dr. Horrible, you have to check it out. Neal Patrick Harris (aka Doogie Howser) stars in the series.

This is the piece of paper where I practice lines, tap the pen so that it will not bleed accidentally and plop ink on the paper I am working on. It looked pretty abstract so I decided it was going to be my photo for 365.

I asked someone what I should try to draw next. Her suggestion was a Yamaha YZF 600R. I added the hair so that she could pretend she was on the bike. Anyways, I love drawing these days. I want to draw Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog characters. I am thinking of drawing Penny, Dr. Horrible, and Captain Hammer. You gotta watch it!

So here is what I use for the pen and ink drawings and all the pencil drawings I have been doing lately. This stuff is so fun to play with. It can get pretty expensive, but I find a lot of joy drawing intriguing people and objects. Anyways, I really like drawing these days I am on fire for it.

This was from a handout from the drawing class. The original artist's name is Paul Calle. I like the strokes he created with just the pencils. I tried to recreate his technique, but I also added the tortilion shading technique. See I don't just draw beautiful chicas.

I feel on fire for these drawings. I mean seriously these things are hella fun to draw. They take me about a half a day to complete from making a decision to draw something I want to make. Anyways, this is really sensual and powerful in my opinion, but I don't know it can be interpreted as borderline offensive to some folks. I got this from a black and white nekkid photos book I got a while back. I like this one because there is movement with the piece. I am into movement these days.
