Today's sunrise looks stunning. The range of colors from yellows, oranges, purples, and dark blues are amazing. Anyways, a new day always means a new beginning I guess. The last few days I have been coughing up my lung. Today I woke up, and I can barely talk. Damn you influenza!

Another early painting of mine, before Che was popularized by Motorcycle Diaries. It was a great movie, now every disenfranchised kid wants to go to Peru/South America and experience what they experienced. My friends and I actually went to Peru, because 1) I had like 40 hours of vacation from work. 2) one of them didn't have a job and was itchin' to get out of the US 3) we were all single and had expendable income. All I have to say is Te amo Peru! I loved it. I really wanted to make Che wear a corporate suit, like a 3 piece suit, because it is a damn shame when his image is portrayed like the coca-cola classic across the western world. Sure his image makes you think of change, revolution, struggle against capitalist pigs, so on and so on with Marxist ideas, but his image is far too used by corporations to spin his image. It is a bit ironic that capitalist marketers use a communist image of strength and power against capitalism to sell some crappy t-shirt (Made in China a Communist country) to a consumer.

Unfortunately, I am sick again. So I have some time to do laundry and other errands. Anyways, this is not a very inspiring shot, but it is something for project 365. I think I may only have enough for 2 more loads. Quarters and a guitar pick sounds like a good song title....

Apparently I am not the only guy who wanted to take that shot. I guess it is what men think of when they see something romantic. Actually, these images sparked the baby boom generation. Like the mentality of jeez louieez I am glad I am alive and killed plenty from WWII and now I want to make a ton of babies to create life.

This hot air balloon was one of many in the San Diego skyline. I figure this would be a wonderful 365 photo opportunity. Anyways, this ended up one of the better shots that came out. I really enjoy shooting with my 50mm f1.4. This lens is my favorite.
