I don't know I guess the last thing I ever want to someone to say to me is that these things I take are boring. That's death to anyone, but especially artists.

Love: This is a diehard fan. (3/365, niftyken)

On my way to work this week, I couldn't help taking a photo of the car in front of me. Hey, even Barry needs love. =] And I'm surprised how clear it came out despite the downpour of rain.

I was putting gas in my car and noticed the light hit this tree and took a quick shot. The colors look really cool blue from the sky and leaves.

I like how the morning light shines on these 2 palm trees. I took this shot when I was walking outside my apartment door. It was a cold morning today. And it eventually rained too. But it just makes me wonder what will I see tomorrow. Much thanks to Hanah, Kenneth, and Jason for contributing to the 365 of light , life, and love.

Light: Reflection (Week 1, 4/365, msjoo2)

A reflection is the return of light upon striking a surface. This is my baby's reflection. When I look at her, I don't see much of myself, but I wonder if I will one day, if she'll reflect me in some way. Sometimes I see my own mom in me, and I wonder if she sees that reflection.

This soup from Jennifer's Taqueria off Latham St. in Mountain View, CA brings life back to a healthy and hearty state. I like eating soups in the winter time, often because it is a time when I get sick. The flavors are simple but somehow I know God's hands are in the preparation of the food. This 365 thing is really challenging. I like it a lot. It makes me think, Ok so what does God want me to see next?

Life: A Lazy Saturday Afternoon (Week 1, 3/365, msjoo2)

Ahhh, this is the life, isn't it?...or is it?

Life: This is a double 4th birthday party. (2/365, niftyken)

Here are the twins at their 4th birthday celebration with family and relatives. Almost a whole year ago, they were walking down the aisle as our ringbearers. Back then, they were barely talking and we were just hoping they'd make it all the way down the aisle without freaking out. (The stuffed Larry and Bob dolls at the end of the walk helped them focus on something to work toward!) Now they've really grown up, each becoming a little man with deep thoughts and dreams.

Light: This is our Christmas Tree. (1/365, niftyken)

This is our first Christmas tree together. It's simple and, well, pretty short, but still amazing how it can add some holiday cheer to our living room. I actually haven't had a Christmas tree at home in years, and it's nice to see how a little something can make us more thankful. And I'm way into the fiber optics. =]

Light, life, and love: The loves of my life (Week 1, 2/365, msjoo2)

What can I say? My family is life, light, and love to me. I'm so thankful for the joy and blessing brought into my life because of them. God is so good! This is a photo of Daddy having some "mirror time" with Baby. We have a mirror hanging in our living room, and she'll smile at herself in the mirror, especially in the morning.

Light, Life, and Love : The beautiful life that I wake up to every morning (Week 1, 1/365, msjoo2)

This is my baby in the morning light chomping down on her crazy monkey. She is what I wake up to every morning and the one person that shares nearly every minute of life with me. I don't know that anything can duplicate the kind of love that a mother has for her child, that I have for my little girl.
