So I figure I want to draw something tonight. And I drew this woman in a mini-skirt smoking a cigarette. Anyways, I still want to photograph strangers as a part of my project 365. Anyways, I cleaned up this photo with Piknik edit thingie from Flickr. It is really neat.
This is a little bit uninspiring. I liked the contrast with the blue sky and the angles of the wood and the white cloth. Day 131 is now complete. I feel like I am running out of things to photograph. I don't like doing SPs I don't know why, but I don't. Maybe I should try to do the 100 strangers project. It may force me to talk to strangers and get to know them a bit. Maybe I will start tomorrow.
I painted this ugly doll on a small sketch pad. The ugly dolls look pretty weird, but little kids really like them. I feel like I am running out of steam with this project. it is really very challenging. It is really like a marathon. I am just passing my first 1/3 of the project. It is fun, but like I said very challenging.
I love this painting. This is one of my favorite paintings I have ever painted. This was really a joy to paint. Putting the finishing touches of the letters "WE BELIEVE" make it really powerful. Anyways, I hope the Warriors to make the playoffs this year.
These is a pink spring flower plant at my apartment complex. Spring flowers are blooming all over, but it is getting cold again in the Bay Area.
This is an older piece of mine. This is a copy of Diego Rivera's "Two brothers." Anyways today is 04/06/08 and I immigrated to this country legally on 04/06/08 from the Philippine Islands. I can't believe it 22 years of living in America. My first thoughts of America was the lights from the plane and the smell from Los Angeles International Airport. I don't know America smelled clean, it smelled of optimism, and it smelled of opportunity.
